Blackstone Resourcing Ltd makes every effort to comply with the obligations under the 1998 Data Protection Act. Additionally, we understand the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of Business Partner’s Corporate Information and other Information stored about them while using our services. This Privacy Policy constitutes an agreement between Business Partners and Blackstone with respect to the storage, display and subsequent use of their Corporate Information for the purpose of filling vacancies. For the purposes of clarification “Corporate Information” includes the Business Partner’s Corporate details which are provided to Blackstone by a Business Partner for automatic distribution to candidates with a view to filling vacancies. When Business Partners complete their registration, some Information collected will be made available for searching, viewing over the Internet and downloading by any Candidate who requests vacancy details matching their profile to be sent to them.

Under the Data Protection legislation, Blackstone Resourcing Ltd (“Blackstone”) must comply with certain regulations designed to ensure that any data provided is processed with proper care and attention - but in any event Blackstone is committed to safeguarding the privacy of Business Partners of Blackstone’s Web Site (“Web Site”) and the following explains the Information gathering and dissemination practices of Blackstone relating to the Web Site. Blackstone may revise this policy at any time, whether for business reasons or because of legislative changes, by updating this posting. No changes to this policy shall be made except by a revised posting on this page. Business Partners should visit this page periodically to review the Privacy Policy. Business Partners will be deemed to accept the new policy (as amended) when Business Partners next use this site following any amendment.
By a Business Partner's use of this website and by his registration of his details with Blackstone, the Business Partner agrees to the conditions of this Privacy Policy and consents to Blackstone’s collection of and processing of Corporate Information supplied by the Business Partner and the Business Partner also consents to Blackstone’s transfer of this Information to potential employers in relation to the process of recruitment. In this Privacy Policy, a “Business Partner” refers to those who use the Web Site and register their details with Blackstone for the purposes of recruitment (and the masculine includes the feminine, the singular the plural and vice versa). Where the Web Site contains links to third-party sites, this Privacy Policy does not apply to such sites.
Use of Corporate Information.
When Business Partners register for the Web Site, Blackstone collects Corporate Information for the purpose of assistance in the recruitment process. This data consists of, but not exclusive to the details of available jobs, plus the Business Partner's responses to applications administered through the Web Site and the results of such applications. Additionally, Blackstone collects Corporate Information from Business Partners via enquiry and registration forms and also on each occasion that Business Partners email details to Blackstone. Blackstone may disclose to third parties, on an anonymous basis, certain aggregate Information contained in their registration application.
Blackstone will not disclose to any third party their name, address or telephone number without their prior consent, except to the extent necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable laws or in legal proceedings where such Corporate Information is relevant. Blackstone reserves the right to offer third party services and products to Business Partners based on the preferences that Business Partners identify in their registration and at any time thereafter; such offers may be made by Blackstone or by third parties. Supplementary Information relevant to the recruitment service which Blackstone provides may also be collected by Blackstone, including a record of any contact Blackstone may have with Business Partners in the course of recruitment assignments. In addition, Blackstone may collect Corporate Information automatically (which Information could include demographic data, geographic trends and browsing patterns) in order to assist strategic development, to audit usage of the Web Site and generally to provide Blackstone with an enhanced understanding of the Business Partners of the Web Site as a group. Such Information would only be used in aggregate form and would not contain Information of an identifiable nature.
Blackstone will process any Corporate Information which Business Partners provide in completing the online registration or application forms and any further forms,or Corporate details which Business Partners complete or provide to Blackstone when using this site, in accordance with UK data protection legislation. When Business Partners apply online, Blackstone stores some Corporate Information about them on the Web Site, but it is protected by their password and may only be accessed by the Business Partner.
This Corporate Information may be accessed through the Blackstone database by third parties outside the Economic European Area ("EEA"). By registering and using the Blackstone Web Site, Business Partners consent to this transfer.
Accessing, Correcting, or Removing your Data.
Business Partners have the right to check what Corporate Information Blackstone holds about them, to access such Corporate data and to correct any Corporate data about them that is inaccurate or out-of-date. If a Business Partner wishes to exercise his right of access to his Corporate Information, or if he wishes to make further inquiries or complaints about the Privacy Policy of Blackstone, he should contact the Managing Director of Blackstone. In the event that a Business Partner wishes access to his Corporate Information, he will be required to verify his identity to Blackstone. Blackstone will not charge the Business Partner for providing access.
